More about W. Axl Rose
W. Axl Rose, born William Bruce Rose Jr. on February 6, 1962, is an iconic American singer and songwriter, famous as the lead vocalist and lyricist of Guns N' Roses. With a remarkable and expansive voice, he gained fame in the hard rock scene, producing hits like 'Sweet Child o' Mine.' Rose founded Guns N' Roses in 1985, achieving great success with their debut album 'Appetite for Destruction,' which became the best-selling U.S. debut ever. Despite controversies including legal issues and feuds within the band, he remained the sole constant member and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. Rose reconnected with former bandmates for the 'Not in This Lifetime... Tour', one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
