Simply Red are a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1985. The band is led by singer and songwriter Mick Hucknall. They released thirteen studio albums from 1985 to 2023, with several reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart. Their album 'Stars' is one of the best-selling in the UK. They have ten top 10 UK Singles Chart hits and two US Billboard Hot 100 number one singles. They won Best British Group at the 1992 and 1993 Brit Awards and received three Grammy nominations.
