Romuald Twardowski was a Polish composer, pianist, organist and academic teacher. Known for his 'developed neoclassicism', he composed operas, ballets, and vocal works, particularly sacred music for Catholic and Orthodox liturgies. Internationally recognized with prizes, his influential works included the Violin Concerto and Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.
