Robin Hugh Gibb CBE (22 December 1949 – 20 May 2012) was a British singer and songwriter renowned as a member of the Bee Gees alongside his brothers Barry and Maurice. Born in Douglas, Isle of Man, he began his career in a family trio, finding success after returning to England. Gibb's career spanned six decades, contributing to music with the Bee Gees' record sales over 200 million. In his later years, Gibb was also president of the Heritage Foundation.
