Ned Bennett

Ned Bennett is an esteemed saxophonist and educator known for his work with many of the UK's top jazz artists. A graduate of Bristol University and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, Ned holds a postgraduate degree specializing in jazz. He's a familiar figure on the British jazz scene, regularly performing at notable venues like Ronnie Scott’s in London. Leading his band, the Harlem Meer Cats, he brings jazz to clubs and festivals throughout the UK. Additionally, Ned serves as Head of Woodwind at a prominent independent school in London and is a sought-after tutor for jazz courses. His skills extend to being an accomplished arranger and composer, with published works including The Jazz Sax Collection, the Jazz Club series, and How to Play Jazz Saxophone published by Faber Music.
