Michael Masser

Michael William Masser (1941-2015) was an American songwriter, composer, and producer acclaimed for his work in popular music. Hailing from Chicago, Masser pursued law before embarking on a celebrated musical career that began with the hit 'Touch Me in the Morning' for Diana Ross. He co-wrote numerous successful tracks for artists such as Whitney Houston and George Benson, and his works were recorded over 110 times. Masser was nominated for an Academy Award, and his legacy was honored with a Songwriters Hall of Fame induction in 2007.
