Michael Jackson

Michael Joseph Jackson, born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, was a groundbreaking American musician and the eighth of ten children in the Jackson family. He joined the Jackson Brothers band in 1964. Known for his tremendous influence on music, dance, and fashion, Jackson faced personal and legal challenges later in life. In 2009, as he prepared for a series of comeback concerts, he tragically died from a propofol overdose administered by his physician. His music legacy and title as the 'King of Pop' endures globally.
