More about Mauro Giuliani
Mauro Giuseppe Sergio Pantaleo Giuliani (27 July 1781 – 8 May 1829) was an Italian guitarist, cellist, singer, and composer【23†source】. A leading guitar virtuoso of the early 19th century【28†source】, he was born in Bisceglie but spent his early years in Barletta where he initially trained as a cellist【25†source】. Giuliani's guitar mastery was acknowledged across Europe after his move to Vienna, where he published compositions and performed impressively. Despite a decline in his later years, his works remain central to the classical guitar repertoire【27†source】.
