Mack J. Wilberg, born on February 20, 1955, is an American composer, arranger, conductor, and choral clinician. Since 2008, Wilberg has been the music director of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. He began his music education playing the piano at age four, served as a missionary in South Korea, and attended Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor's degree in music. He furthered his studies at USC Thornton School of Music, obtaining master's and doctoral degrees in choral music. As a professor at BYU, Wilberg directed choruses and was a member of the American Piano Quartet. He is celebrated for his compositions and arrangements, which have been showcased globally and at U.S. presidents' funerals. Wilberg continues to plan and conduct performances for 'Music & the Spoken Word.' He is married to Rebecca and they have four children【25†source】.
