Ludovico Einaudi

Ludovico Maria Enrico Einaudi OMRI, born 23 November 1955, is an Italian pianist and composer, trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan. Einaudi began his career in classical music, expanding into pop, rock, folk, and world music. He has composed for films and television, plus released acclaimed solo albums. Notable works include scores for 'This Is England', 'The Intouchables', and albums 'I Giorni', 'Nightbook', and 'In a Time Lapse'. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2005【23†source】.
