Lars-Erik Larsson

Lars-Erik Vilner Larsson was a Swedish composer, conductor, radio producer, and educator renowned for suites such as A Winter's Tale, Pastoral Suite, and God in Disguise. His diverse style blended late Romanticism with Schoenberg's twelve-note system, exemplified by his pioneering serial music in Sweden. Born to working-class parents in Åkarp, Larsson later contributed to Swedish Radio, taught at Stockholm Conservatory, and served as Director musices at Uppsala University.
