Julian Casablancas

Julian Fernando Casablancas, born on August 23, 1978, is an American musician, known as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the rock band The Strokes. Beyond his work with The Strokes, he has pursued solo projects, releasing 'Phrazes for the Young' and has been the frontman for the experimental rock band The Voidz since 2013. Raised in New York City, he was exposed to varied musical influences from an early age, leading to a diverse career with critical acclaim and a Grammy win to his name with The Strokes' album 'The New Abnormal' in 2020.
