John Anthony White, known professionally as Jack White and born as John Anthony Gillis, is an American musician born on July 9, 1975. Widely recognized as a pivotal figure in the 2000s garage rock revival, White gained fame as the guitarist and lead singer of the White Stripes, winning 12 Grammy Awards and achieving three Billboard 200 topping solo albums. He also founded the bands the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather, collaborated with renowned artists, and is a significant advocate for vinyl records and analog technology. He was involved in the title song for the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace' with Alicia Keys. White is also known for his extensive guitar collection and his vinyl record label and studio, Third Man Records.
