Howard Greenfield (March 15, 1936 – March 4, 1986) was an American lyricist and songwriter known for his work in the 1960s from the Brill Building. His notable collaborations include Neil Sedaka, Jack Keller, and Helen Miller. Greenfield achieved four #1 hits on the US Billboard charts and co-wrote top hits for several artists, including theme songs for popular TV series of the 1960s. He formed a songwriting partnership with Sedaka in his late teens and was educated at Abraham Lincoln High School.
