Gwyn Arch MBE was a British musical arranger, composer, and choir director. Born in Southampton, he studied English at Selwyn College, Cambridge, and played in jazz bands. Arch taught English and studied musical composition at Trinity College London. He directed music at Bulmershe College and arranged music for BBC radio and TV. Leading the South Chiltern Choral Society for nearly 50 years, Arch also founded the Reading Male Voice Choir. A Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music and Composition Fellow of Trinity College London, he authored many choral arrangements and was appointed an MBE for services to music in Berkshire.
