Eva Cassidy

Eva Marie Cassidy was an American singer and guitarist known for her interpretations of jazz, folk, and blues music, sung with a powerful, emotive soprano voice. She released her first album in 1992 and gained posthumous fame when her recordings were discovered by a wider audience. Cassidy died of melanoma in 1996 at the age of 33.
