Duffy

Aimée Anne Duffy, born on 23 June 1984, is a Welsh singer, songwriter, and actress known for her soulful music style that blends soul, blue-eyed soul, pop rock, neo soul, and pop. She rose to fame with the release of her debut album 'Rockferry' in 2008, which spawned the chart-topping single 'Mercy'. Duffy won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and three Brit Awards in 2009. After releasing her second album in 2010, she took a hiatus from music and returned briefly in 2015. In 2020, Duffy shared that her long-term absence was due to her recovery from a traumatic abduction and sexual assault.
