David Grohl

David Eric Grohl, born on January 14, 1969, is an American musician recognized as the founder, lead singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the rock band Foo Fighters. Before Foo Fighters, he was the drummer for Nirvana from 1990 to 1994. Following Nirvana's disbandment, Grohl formed Foo Fighters as a one-man project in 1995, which has since released 11 studio albums. He has also been part of Them Crooked Vultures, recorded with Queens of the Stone Age, and participated in projects such as Late! and Probot. Additionally, Grohl directed music videos and documentaries like Sound City and Sonic Highways. His 2021 autobiography is 'The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music'. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Nirvana in 2014 and with Foo Fighters in 2021.
