Danny Goffey

Daniel Robert Goffey, born on 7 February 1974, is an English musician and singer-songwriter, famed as the drummer and backing vocalist for the band Supergrass. His early career began whimsically with bands like The Jubbly Spufflewubs and The Fallopian Tubes. Goffey's serious musical journey took shape at Wheatley Park School with the band The Jennifers, featuring a young Gaz Coombes. After it disbanded, Goffey and Coombes formed Supergrass, achieving critical acclaim with their debut album 'I Should Coco'. The band split in 2010, after which Goffey pursued solo projects under the pseudonym 'Van Goffey' and participated in various charitable musical collaborations.
