Damien Rice

Damien George Rice, born on 7 December 1973 in Dublin, Ireland, is a renowned musician, singer and songwriter. Starting his career with the 1990s rock group Juniper, he embarked on a solo career in 2001. Rice's debut solo album 'O', released in 2002, received critical acclaim, won the Shortlist Music Prize and produced top 30 UK singles. His subsequent albums include '9' in 2006 and 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy' in 2014. Rice is also noted for his contributions to charitable projects.
