Cyril Scott

Cyril Meir Scott was an English composer, writer, poet, and occultist. He composed around 400 works including concertos, symphonies, and operas, and wrote on occultism and natural health. A child prodigy sent to study in Frankfurt, Scott became part of the Frankfurt Group of composers and was later called 'the English Debussy'. His musical influences are noted in Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring'. Scott was also an advocate for alternative medicine and cancer treatments, promoting diet and natural remedies over conventional medicine.
