Cheryl Frances-Hoad

Cheryl Frances-Hoad is a British composer, born in 1980. She started composing at eight while studying cello and piano at the Yehudi Menuhin School. A graduate of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Frances-Hoad earned a Double 1st in 2001 and has since composed works for prestigious venues and ensembles, including the BBC Proms, Rambert Dance Company, and more. Her compositions span various genres and have garnered numerous accolades, highlighting her distinct contribution to contemporary classical music.
