Betty Roe (born 30 July 1930) is an English composer, singer, vocal coach, and conductor. Born in North Kensington, London, she began piano lessons at six and started writing music in her teens. Roe later studied at the Royal Academy of Music and became a session singer in the 1950s, eventually working with notable entertainers. She held the position of Director of Music at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and founded Thames Publishing. Roe was awarded an MBE for her contributions to classical music and composition.
