Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in 2002 in Sheffield. The band, consisting of Alex Turner (lead vocals, guitar), Matt Helders (drums, vocals), Jamie Cook (guitar) and Nick O'Malley (bass), gained fame for being one of the first bands to come to public attention via the Internet. They released their debut album 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' in 2006, which became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history at the time and heralded them into international fame, especially with their fifth album 'AM'.
