Anna Clyne is an English composer born on 9 March 1980 in London, currently residing in New York City. She began her music career early, writing her first piece at age 7 and receiving her first public performance at 11. Clyne holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Edinburgh and a MA from the Manhattan School of Music. Her teachers include Marina Adamia, Marjan Mozetich, and Julia Wolfe. Clyne has been a composer-in-residence at prestigious orchestras worldwide, and her works have been commissioned and presented by renowned institutions. She was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2015 and has been recognized for her unique talents and collaborations across genres.
