More about Alan Bergman
Alan Bergman (born September 11, 1925) and Marilyn Keith Bergman (November 10, 1928 – January 8, 2022) were an American songwriting duo. They had a successful career spanning from the 1950s to 2017, achieving accolades that include Emmys, Oscars, and Grammys. Both were born in Brooklyn, New York, and, notably, at the same hospital. They did not meet until they moved to Los Angeles in the late 1950s, marrying in 1958. Their collaborations include work with Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, and Michel Legrand, among others. Their notable works like 'The Way We Were' became timeless classics. Marilyn passed away in 2022 at the age of 93.
