TESTIMONIALS

I’m tremendously excited to think of young singers without direct access to classical music training using this application.

Singers

nkoda is really clever; it's like a view into the future of making music.

Conductor

‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ was written by Jule Styne for the 1964 Broadway musical, Funny Girl. Famously sung by Barbra Streisand on both stage and screen, and covered by a range of other artists, the song has become a bona fide classic. This PepperHorn title, arranged by Shaun Evans for big band plus vocalist, honours Bobby Darin’s benchmark version. The band moves through the gears in the introduction, shifting from A-flat through B-flat to settle in C. Then the singer enters, delivering Bobby Merrill’s iconic swaggering lyrics. There’s one more change in store as the ensemble modulates up to D-flat for the closing fireworks.
