Liz Lane

Liz Lane is a British composer celebrated for her melodically rich and varied musical style, suitable for performers of all abilities. Her compositions have graced venues such as Royal Albert Hall and Wales Millennium Centre, with performances from renowned groups like The Cory Band and the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera. Liz has consistently received commissions, including a piece to mark the centenary of WWI. Her work 'Enchanted Light' was broadcast on BBC Radio 3, following her 2021 appointment as Composer in Association with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. An alumna of Cardiff University and the Royal College of Music, she achieved significant recognition as a child composer and holds a PhD in Composition.
