Diana Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer and actress. Lead singer of The Supremes, Ross became a defining act of the Motown era, with twelve number-one hit singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. She pursued a solo career post-1970, with hits like 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' and 'Endless Love'. Ross garnered acclaim as an actress, earning an Oscar nomination for 'Lady Sings the Blues'.
