Benny Andersson

Göran Bror Benny Andersson, born on 16 December 1946 in the Vasastan district of Stockholm, is a renowned Swedish musician, composer, and producer, famously recognized as a member of ABBA and co-composer of musicals such as Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia!. His musical talents were inherited from his father and grandfather who both played the accordion. Andersson's career began at a young age, securing his position as a teen idol with the Hep Stars. His successful collaboration with Björn Ulvaeus led to forming ABBA, achieving global success. Following ABBA, Andersson continued to impact music through his stage musicals and band, Benny Anderssons Orkester (BAO).
